What Series ran Which Completion Cards?

Say that again? What I am trying to say is, for version "C", what series had that type issued? Some of this is a guess for me because this list only represents the ones I have seen with my own eyes. If you have an image that you would like to send me to prove that something exists that is not on my list, I will give you credit.

  • "C"   -  The "C" completion card is tea card sized. At the end / beginning of a series, these cards were placed alongside the regular picture cards. If you bought the coffee, not only were the cards wrapped in cellophane, your type "C" completion cards were tucked in the cello as well. You can even find Type "B" Free Album coupons tucked in those beginning / ending cellos as well. I have never seen a series 16 or 17 completion card but I believe they exist.
  • "D"   -  Similar to "C" in effect, it looks like monopoly money. Completion cards typically offer a chance to pick up ending series loose cards and a beginning series album. In this case some series 9 cards at 1¢ each but also offers a new series 10 album free. Also note that you can get the ending series 9 album, but that still costs .25¢. The "D" type for series 17 would be the exact same dimensions as the rest except for the good-bye to picture card collecting blurb on the top of it.
  • "E"   -  The "E" card is also a completion card. It is printed on thick cardboard and is almost square. What it offers is very similar to the type "D" They come in two different sizes. More than likely, this kind of card was used as a stiffener at the bottom of the coffee bag. Just to be simple, let's call the two Big "E" and Little "E".
  • "F"   -  The "F" completion card is a pretty nice looking one with a picture of the album in addition to the usual check boxes.

Remember, I said this list represents what I have seen. If you have something different, scan it and send it to me. Don't forget, this list represents Completion Cards.

Now I have seen three big type "E" series cards on auction sites. They were the series 1 songbird, the series 6 tropical birds and series 9 Can/American songbirds completion cards. I wonder if there is a 4 and 5 big "E" as well....

Thanks to Dave Curtis for the Series 16 "D" French Only Completion Card.

Thanks to Fran Wilson for sending a scan of the big "E" series 2 completion card.

Thanks to Dave Huebert for pointing out the type little "E" series 1 on eBay.

Thanks to Terry Calleyne for sending a scan of the big type "E" series 8 completion card.

I purchased a big type "E" series 7 card and updated the entire "D" section.

Here is a little type "E" series 13 Wildlife in Danger completion card, front and back.

I purchased a great group of little type "E" series cards and got  series 8, 10, 11, 12, 13, and 15. What a pleasant surprise.

I saw a little type "E" series card on an auction site. It was the series 5 dinosaur completion card. Another one bites the dust.

Thanks to Mark at TeaCards.Com for pointing out that he had pics for the little "E" series 2 and 3.
